What a week! Mark was in Seattle and mom and dad were in town, and I worked. I think mom and dad had the most fun. They took the train into the city almost everyday and met friends and family and watched some of the making of the Transformer movie. Mark was in meetings all day and I had to deal with day to day work issues. It was HOT in Chicago so anything and everything we did last week was exhausting.
After a week with Mark in Seattle and mom and dad in town, things are back to "normal". But really, what is normal? Fenway and I get up at 2 each morning, Fenway to hit the lawn and me to hit the bathroom. Then up again at 6 for our morning walk. Then the day starts....I seem to feel best in the mornings so breakfast is my favorite meal. It just goes down hill from then. By night time, the last thing I want is food, and typically end up with my old stand by PB&J. Hopefully this trend is stopping as I was able to eat a few dinners with the family over the weekend.
We had an ultra sound on Monday and flounder looked like he was trying out for "So you think you can dance." It was so much fun to see the bean move. Next week is the NT scan, so once we get past that....
That is all for today, time to get ready for work.

Sick and Tired of Peanutbutter
So I am not sure why they call it morning sickness. I am fine in the mornings. I have no issues getting up, walking Fenway, downing a few glasses of OJ and having a good breakfast of either yogurt with fruit and granola or 1/2 bagel and scrambles eggs. But by noon, its all down hill. On a good day, I can get a nice lunch in and maybe a snack of trail mix at 3, but by 5 or 6, the last thing I want is food. I always have high expectations and Mark makes some great dinners, but usually one bite and I am queasy. So I head to the old stand by, peanutbutter and crackers. I cannot wait until my eating is normal again. And I am not ready for bed at 6pm.

Flounder
Since calling it Baby A is not longer appealing, it was decided at dinner with Robin and Bob that Baby A would now be known as FLOUNDER......
With a the Camp Reitman Rib Fest on July 4th and 90 degree weather, today flounder, mom and Fenway slept the afternoon away. Who knew I would be so tired? Fenway was more than willing to curl up with me on the couch while Mark drove Robin and Bob to the airport.
Flounder will get a blood test on Tuesday and an ultra sound on Thursday.
